Survivor (original/non-restored) / Original Owner / CANADA
I’m proud to be the original owner of this classic Kyusha since Day 1. It was purchased new locally in Calgary, Alberta on December 1988.
This car is in its original, unrestored condition including original paint, interior, factory wheels, 1.6 L engine, and low mileage (currently at 110,378 km, or 68,586 miles currently) making it a bit of a unicorn in this day and age.
Tasteful enhancements include period correct Lightspeed front strut bar and intake, Tokico HP “blues” with Eibach Pro springs for an improved stance, Vibrant 304 SS exhaust, and DC Sports ceramic header.
The interior includes the original seats (no rips or tears) with a period correct Alpine CDA 9815 head unit (CD MP3) connected to Audison LRX amps driving Focal polykevlar speakers and Focal sub box. The amps have been discreetly installed under the storage box behind the seats to maintain the stock appearance. The shifting has been enhanced with a Momo Anatomico leather shift knob and a Tegiwa LHD dash pad (identical to the Honda Access RHD dash pad) added to compliment the black interior. Autometer guages (voltage and oil pressure) have been added to the A-pillar.
Original OEM parts (intake, exhaust manifold, A-pillar trim, OEM suspension components, and shifter) have been stored to easily return the rex back to stock trim.
I appreciate the opportunity to share my Kyusha to JCCS and its followers and virtually connect with other owners in October.
Arigato.
