First, happy new year, 2020! And a big arigato gozaymasu (thank you!) to the incredible number of people who turned out for JCCS®’ 15th anniversary!
Please MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW! 2020 JCCS® will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020! That’s a month later than we usually hold JCCS® at beautiful Marina Green Park in Long Beach. Between the extra day in the calendar for Leap Year, and holding the event later in the season, you will have more time this year to work on perfecting your kyu-sha—getting it running that much stronger and looking that much better! We all look forward to seeing the results of your hard work and creativity in October!
The year 2020 will mark JCCS’ “Sweet 16”—an incredible 16 years and still going strong! You’ll hear more about this in the months ahead, but in broad strokes:
- Mazda will be in the midst of its 100th anniversary in 2020; you can expect something special to celebrate
- Toyota will celebrate 50 years of the sporty Celica coupe
- JCMS (the Japanese Classic Motorcycle Show, held within the grounds of JCCS each year) will enjoy its 10th anniversary in 2020!
- Expect to see JCCS T-shirts and (new for 2020!) license plate frames now on sale!!
